Benfica FC is at its best again this season and that name has grown to become a threat to international club football, crushing every club in the Portugal Primeira leguage and beyond. Benfica is currently occupying the number one position in the Portugal Primeira league table having played a total of 16 matches with 45 points winning a record time of a total of 15 times and losing just only a match.

Sporting CP is another good club in the Portugal Primeira league having fought their way to the 5th position from 16 matches with 29 points but far below Benfica which is above them with a high margin of 16 points difference.

Their last Head to Head match saw Benfica humiliating Sporting CP to 5:0 in the Super Cup. Though Sporting CP will be playing Host to Benfica and has a fair performance record playing from Home having played a total of 7 matches winning 4 and losing 3 but Benfica has an excellent performance record of Away win statistics having won all there 7 Away matches played so far in the Premier League matches.

Therefore, I have no doubt that Benfica will defeat Sporting CP.
